Authorities searching for Templeton robbery suspect
Suspect described as a white male adult wearing a black hoodie
– On Wednesday, at approximately 9:07 a.m. the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a strong arm robbery which had just occurred in a parking lot in the 300 block of S. Main Street in Templeton. A male victim reported he was retrieving an item from the front seat of his car, when he was shoved further into the vehicle by a suspect who then stole the victim’s wallet from his back pocket. The suspect then ran away with the wallet and an undisclosed amount of money. No weapons were seen during this incident. The victim received a small cut on his arm.
Deputies, along with a CHP helicopter and a State Parks K9 began searching the area for the suspect. At this time the suspect has not been located.
The suspect is described as a white male adult, approximately 5′ 10″ to 6′ 0″ tall and wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt.
