Two Paso Robles residents arrested for driving a stolen car
Female passenger also arrested for possession of narcotics
–The Paso Robles Police Department arrested two people on Tuesday for driving a stolen car. The car was stolen from a Paso Robles area hotel in August of 2016.
The arrestees are identified as:
• Guillermo Willie Lujan Jr, 33yrs, of Paso Robles (Driver)
• Ashley Nicole Talbert, 27yrs, of rural Paso Robles (Passenger)
A PRPD officer spotted the car at approximately 10:38 a.m. when the stolen car failed to stop for a posted stop sign. Upon checking the vehicle’s identification number (VIN) the officer learned the car, a white 2012 Toyota Sequoia, had been stolen from a Paso Robles area hotel on Aug. 28.
A search of the suspects, subsequent to their arrest, revealed Talbert was in possession of suspected heroin. Both Lujan and Talbert were subsequently booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on the following charges:
• Guillermo Willie Lujan Jr: Receiving stolen property (felony)
• Ashley Nicole Talbert: Possession of narcotics (misdemeanor); Receiving stolen property (felony)
