Letter: Thank you volunteers 

To the editor,

–Friends of Atascadero Lake Board of Directors would like to thank all the volunteers, Tom Jameson and the city of Atascadero, the California Conservation Corps and Erika Banner and her crew for their hard work on Saturday, Oct. 8.

This was our third annual Lake Perimeter Clean Up with the goal of enhancing the view shed as you walk or drive around Atascadero Lake. Four of the largest green waste bins were filled to overflowing.

Participants started off with donuts and coffee and ended with a nice lunch all provided by Friends of Atascadero Lake. A group effort can accomplish a lot! If you haven’t walked or driven around the lake, we invite you to do so.
