Amtrak train halted by car accident

–An Amtrak passenger rail car was stopped on its train tracks north of Paso Robles Sunday afternoon due to a car accident. For unknown reasons, a small passenger vehicle crashed off of Highway 101 north of San Marcos Creek Road.
California Highway Patrol and San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies were responding to the scene. No other details were available at press time.
