Atascadero community band donates to youth arts foundation
Donation will sponsor four students for a year
–Paso Robles Youth Arts Foundation received a gift of $887 from the recent Atascadero Community Band, “Latin Sizzle” concert. Hosted at Atascadero Bible Church Hall, the band’s spring concert featured a program of spirited salsa and tango as well as pieces from the film, “Evita,” among others. PRYAF’s young musicians attended the concert and were inspired by the band’s range of accomplished horn, flute and percussion players.
PRYAF is completely supported by the community’s donations. This gift will sponsor four PRYAF students for an entire year. PRYAF says it values its collaboration with this talented group of musicians and thanks them for being a positive example in musicianship for PRYAF’s students.
