Letter: Atascadero Mayor Pro Tem supports candidate for supervisor 

To the editor, 

As a 12-year resident and Mayor Pro Tem of Atascadero, I support the re-election of Debbie Arnold as our Fifth District Supervisor. Debbie led the fight locally and at the state level to protect the citizens of the North County from large commercial interests and State legislation that would have nearly stripped small property owners of their water rights. Without Debbie’s commitment to the people, we’d have another government bureaucracy costing tax payers millions of dollars. Further, our local control would be greatly diminished.

Supervisor Arnold stands with the people of Atascadero and the entire North County, support that is much needed in the face of large commercial and government entities that would gladly take control. Debbie’s dedication to the citizens over powerful, wealthy interests is just one of many reasons she has my vote on June 7th.
