County employees’ association endorses candidate for supervisor 

–The San Luis Obispo County Employees’ Association has endorsed Eric Michielssen for District 5 County Supervisor.

The association represents the vast majority of county government employees. This endorsement is significant to the grassroots candidate’s campaign against incumbent Debbie Arnold.
“Mr. Michielssen’s staunch commitment to community service, coupled with his enthusiastic support of public employees, their families, and the public service in general, made this decision an easy one,” said Dan Qualey, SLOCEA President.

Michielssen is a farmer, businessman and retired teacher from Pozo. The 5th District includes Atascadero, Creston, Santa Margarita and portions of Templeton and San Luis Obispo. The primary election is June 7, 2016.
