15-year old stabbed in San Miguel park
Suspect in stabbing apprehended by sheriff’s deputies with investigation ongoing
–A 15-year old boy was stabbed at approximately 3 p.m. Monday, May 16 in San Miguel Community Park, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim was found with stab wounds to his stomach and treated at a local hospital where he is expected to recover. Witnesses were able to describe the suspect in the incident as a white, male adult, approximately 18-to-19-years old and approximately 6′ tall, officials say.
Deputies were able to locate the suspect in the area and are questioning both the suspect and parties involved. Officials say the investigation is ongoing with no further information available at this time.
