District five supervisorial candidates campaign contributions filed
Arnold edges ahead with almost $121,760 more in total campaign contributions
–Incumbent Supervisor Debbie Arnold and challenger Eric Michielssen have filed their campaign contributions, both cash donations and non-monetary, in the lead up to the June 7 primary, for the Fifth District Supervisor election for the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors.
The Fifth District includes the communities of Atascadero, Cal Poly (portion), California Valley, Creston, Garden Farms, Pozo, San Luis Obispo (portion), Templeton (portion), and Santa Margarita.
Over the campaign period Jan. 1 to Apr. 23, 2016 total campaign contributions filed for candidates include:
- Arnold raised $60,491 in cash donations and $2,140 in non-monetary contributions. Her main contributor was Teixeira Farms in Santa Maria and Opolo Wines in Westlake Village both with a contribution of $2000.
- Michielssen raised $36,548 in cash donations and $2,373 in non-monetary contributions. His main contributor was SLO County Democratic Party with a contribution of $1,500.
