Templeton Wine Festival hits the park May 14
Fourth annual event features live music, food and boutique shopping
–Join the Templeton Chamber of Commerce for the 4th Annual Templeton Wine Festival (formerly called “Taste of Templeton”). The event will feature unlimited tasting at over 25 of the North County’s best boutique wineries. Taste olive oil, wine and specialty food from local purveyors, browse interesting art, crafts and boutique shopping vendors, and enjoy live music from the main stage, including “The Troubadour of Templeton” Jim Sweetwater and local favorite roots/rock band, The J.D. Project. Delicious food options will also be available for purchase and picnic areas are provided near the main stage.
Some of the wineries that will be pouring include: Broken Earth Winery,Burbank Ranch Winery & Vineyard, Clesi Winery, Derby Winery, Doce Robles Winery, Donati Winery, Eberle Winery, Felten Cellars, Frolicking Frog Winery, Peachy Canyon Winery, Powell Mountain Winery, ROXO Port, Rio Seco Winery, Tablas Creek Winery. Vista Del Rey Vineyards and more to come.
Come spend the day at the Templeton Community Park on Saturday, May 14. The county’s largest Farmer’s Market is held in the park from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the Templeton Wine Festival kicks off at 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Tickets are $30 pre-sale and $40 at the door for wine tasting or $5 for non-drinking attendees.
