Candidate debate to be hosted Thursday 

–On Thursday, April 14 candidates for 5th District County Supervisor Eric Michielssen and incumbent Debbie Arnold will come together to debate crucial issues facing voters at their first forum. The event will be held at Dove Creek Church, located at 9333 Santa Barbara Road in Atascadero, from 5:15 to 8 p.m.

The debate is sponsored by the Latino Outreach Council in collaboration with The League of Women Voters. For questions or more information call (805) 610-3385.

The Fifth District includes the communities of Atascadero, Cal Poly (portion), California Valley, Creston, Garden Farms, Pozo, San Luis Obispo (portion), Templeton (portion), and Santa Margarita.
