Adoptable pet of the week: Timmy
–This week’s edition of North County Adoptable Pet of the Week features fluffy grey cat Timmy.
Timmy is a large, fluffy grey and white male cat who is about 5 years old. He was rescued from the Department of Animal Services and came to NCHS when he was still a kitten. He was adopted briefly as a teenager, but has spent most of his life with the other cats at NCHS.
Timmy is shy at first, but warms up to people when he gets to know them. He enjoys head scratches and a good brushing. He ignores most of the other NCHS cats; he was picked on when he was a kitten by the older cats in his adopted home. So Timmy might make a good addition to a household that does not have dominant or aggressive cats.
Timmy has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and is ready to meet his new person today. Are you the right family to give him a new home?
NCHS has many cats available for adoption; they can be viewed on the website at www.slonchs.org. Potential pet parents are encouraged to visit NCHS to find the right cat for their family.
The North County Humane Society is located in Atascadero, just off of Highway 101 by the Del Rio Road exit, at 2300 Ramona Rd. They are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. More information is provided on the website, or call NCHS at (805) 466-5403.
