Senator Monning endorses candidate for supervisor 

Primary election is June 7

Senator Bill Monning.

–State Senator Bill Monning, whose district includes San Luis Obispo County, announced on Monday his endorsement of Eric Michielssen for District 5 County Supervisor.

“I am pleased to endorse Eric Michielssen for the position of San Luis Obispo County Supervisor, District 5,” said Monning. “I know Eric to be a person of the greatest integrity who is absolutely committed to the advancement of the quality of life for all residents of the district and the county. Eric brings a strong set of skills and experience as a business owner, public policy practitioner, and resident of north county who will work to build our local economy, create and protect jobs, and protect our public health and safety.”

Michielssen is running against incumbent Debbie Arnold. The 5th District includes Atascadero, Creston, Santa Margarita and portions of Templeton and San Luis Obispo.

The primary election is June 7.
