Adoptable pet of the week: Frankie
–This edition of North County Adoptable Pets of the Week features orange tabby Frankie.
Frankie lived in Atascadero with his sister Cupcake until their owner moved, and both he and his sister were brought to North County Humane Society. Now Frankie lives with about 60 other cats at the NCHS adoption center.
Frankie is an 8-year-old flame pointed orange tabby male. He is a little shy until he gets to know you, then he is very affectionate. As a middle age cat, he enjoys napping and head scratches more than chasing mice and string, and he might be the perfect cat for a senior. He has been indoor and outdoor, and seems comfortable hanging out on the NCHS cat porch.
Frankie has been spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped, and he is ready to join the right household today.
NCHS has many cats available for adoption; they can be viewed on the website at www.slonchs.org. Potential pet parents are encouraged to visit NCHS to find the right cat for their family.
The North County Humane Society is located in Atascadero, just off of Highway 101 by the Del Rio Road exit, at 2300 Ramona Rd. They are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. More information is provided on the website, or call NCHS at (805) 466-5403.
