Hounds fall to Eagles

Arroyo Grande 24, Atascadero 10
–The Atascadero Greyhounds hosted Arroyo Grande Friday night but were unable to claim a win at home as the Eagles earned a 24-10 victory to pad their PAC-5 record.
Atascadero scored on a 1-yard touchdown run from Marc Martin and a PAT from Logan Armstrong in the first quarter. Martin finished with 32 carries for 118 yards for the Hounds.

By the end of the second quarter, Arroyo Grande held a 14-7 lead over Atascadero.
Armstrong added a 25-yard field goal in third quarter for the Hounds, but it was not enough for the win, with the Eagles claiming the 24-10 victory.

This week’s games will determine where the teams line up for the PAC-5 title. The Arroyo Grande Eagles (3-0 PAC-5, 8-1 overall) will host the SLO Tigers (0-3 PAC-5, 2-7 overall).
Atascadero (2-1 PAC-5, 7-2 overall) will travel to Paso Robles to take on the rival Bearcats (2-1 PAC-5, 5-4 overall) in their final game of the regular season on Friday, Nov. 6. JV action starts at 4 p.m.; Varsity at 7 p.m.
