Summer volleyball camp registration now open
The City of Atascadero is now taking registrations for their summer youth volleyball camp. The cost of the camp is $81.50 for Atascadero residents or $89.65 for non-residents. Pre-registration is required and will be accepted at the Colony Park Community Center in Atascadero, or online at www.atascadeo.org.
Volleyball Camp is for kids ages 8 to 13 years old. Camp will be held June 22 to the 26, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the community center which is located at 5599 Traffic Way in Atascadero. Thursday’s camp will take place at the Atascadero Lake Park sand volleyball court.
Volleyball camp will focus on skill development for beginning to experienced volleyball players. Passing, serving, hitting and setting will be the main focus, with additional offense and defense volleyball strategies to be included.
