Austin's Gurf Morlix to play at Vines on the Maycrest
Austin Texas’ Gurf Morlix to celebrate CD release by playing at Vines on the Marycrest
Gurf Morlix will celebrate the release of his new CD, “Eatin’ at Me,” by playing on Saturday, April 18 at Vines on the Marycrest Vineyards and Winery.
Morlix has worked with recording artists such as Lucinda Williams, Robert Earl Keen, Mary Gauthier, Slaid Cleaves, and Ray Wylie Hubbard.
He has been awarded Instrumentalist of the Year by the Americana Music Association, inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame, made seven albums of his own songs, and toured the world promoting them. The new release, ‘Eatin’ at Me,’ was inspired by his time growing up in upstate New York.
Vines on the Marycrest is located at 5076 Mustard Creek Rd in Paso Robles. Music is at 8 p.m. for the Saturday, April 18 show. Tickets are $15 and can be bought at the door or in advance or online at www.vinesonthemarycrest.com/events.
