Chi McClean Returns to Paso Robles March 1
Musician Chi McClean is returning to Paso Robles to perform. McClean is set to headline Songwriters At Play Sunday, March 1, at Sculpterra Winery in Paso Robles.
Currently based in Nashville, Tennessee, McClean writes acoustic rock songs marked by a haunting Southern style. Many of his songs take a straightforward look at love, loss, and in the end, opportunity. Influenced by Jimi Hendrix, The Black Crowes, Free, The Faces and The Allman Brothers, McClean’s music borrows from the classic tones and song structures that formed the pillars of the 1960’s rock scene, but in a style all his own. He really turns heads with his flashy guitar work and soulful vocals.
Special guests on March 1 include Holly Ann Phillips and Mia Edsall. Songwriters At Play holds showcases every Sunday, 1-4 p.m. at Sculpterra Winery, 5015 Linne Road, Paso Robles, (805) 226-8881. All ages okay.
The showcase includes one featured act and others playing 4-song sets. No cover charge, but a tip bucket is passed during the featured artist’s set.
