Tickets on sale Monday for Live Oak Music Festival
Tickets go on sale Monday, Jan. 26 at 10 a.m., for the 27th Annual Live Oak Music Festival. The annual Father’s Day weekend festival, held this year on June 19-21, is a three-day camping and concert event at Live Oak Camp in the Santa Ynez Mountains.
The music line-up for Saturday’s Rockin’ Funk & Blues Night includes New Orleans singer/songwriter Glen David Andrews (whose gifted family includes Trombone Shorty and members of the Rebirth Brass Band), Afro-Latin funk band Jungle Fire, and Chicago’s smokin’ slide guitar boogie master Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials. With main stage acts showcasing musicians from all over the world, the Live Oak Music Festival is a hub for seeing some of the world’s finest entertainers in folk, rhythm and blues, roots rock, Latin, jazz, Americana, and world music. Additional acts are soon to be announced.
The family-friendly festival is a great way to kick off summer and 100 percent of festival proceeds benefit KCBX Public Radio, serving San Luis Obispo, Southern Monterey, and Santa Barbara Counties.
The festival gates open at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2015. Ticket prices range from $20 (child’s day ticket) to $130 (adult full festival/3-day pass). Camping is included with the 3-day pass. Parking fees are additional. Full festival early bird pricing is available through Friday, March 13. Ticket information for the 2015 Live Oak festival, entertainment line-up, and complete festival details are available at www.liveoakfest.org.
