Library celebrates spring with art, poetry exhibit 

Exhibit theme is, ‘Renewal’

–The Atascadero Library, located at 6555 Capistrano Avenue, will celebrate spring with a special exhibit of art and poetry, beginning April 1 and continuing through May 31.

The work of several well-known local artists will be included: Pat Cairns, Jim Carlisle, Helen K. Davie, Diane Harrison, Jordan Hockett, and Joe Schwartz. More than 25 poets, including many published poets, will be featured as well.

On Thursday, April 7, from 5:30-7 p.m., the library will host a reception to introduce the artists and poets who have contributed to this exhibit. Light refreshments will be served, and the public is encouraged to attend.
