The suspect was seen driving a truck similar to this one.

–On Dec., 8 at approximately 4:39 p.m., officers responded to the report of a hit and run traffic collision at the corner of Mill and Park Streets in San Luis Obispo. The 3-year old victim walked into the street and was struck by the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect never slowed down and fled westbound on Mill St. out of sight. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was described as a Hispanic male adult in his 20’s, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt.

The 3-year old victim was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and is expected to make a full recovery. The investigation is on-going and anyone with information regarding the suspect and/or the suspect’s vehicle is encouraged to call the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
